noticed that Lydia's hair was very much the
same colour as her own. She lifted the corner
of Lydia's pillow, taking great care not to
wake her up. She saw the little velvet pouch
and picked it up. She took out the tooth and
placed it gently on Lydia's bedside cabinet,
next to a vase of roses, whilst she reached
into her own golden pouch for the coin and
Fairy Dust. After placing the coin into
Lydia's pouch, she carefully replaced it under
the pillow and sprinkled around the silver
Fairy Dust, before putting the golden pouch
back into her pocket, and flying out of the
window.
Fairy Fleur had flown for several miles,
before she realised, with horror that she had
forgotten to pick up the little white tooth
from the bedside cabinet! There was nothing
for it, but to turn around and go right back
to Lydia's room, as she dare not go back to the
Queen without that tooth.
