As Fairy Fleur climbed the steps to the
Queen's shimmering castle, she was very
worried. She was an apprentice fairy and
had been for some time now. She longed to be
a proper fairy, with large, lacy wings, and a
real, shiny wand. However, Fairy Fleur was
rather forgetful and a little clumsy and she
was sure the Queen was going to tell her off
about something. Only yesterday, she had
accidentally bumped into the Buttercup
Fairy, spilling yellow buttercup paint all
over some new green grass. It took her and
three other fairies, two hours to clean it up
and the Buttercup Fairy was very cross! Oh
dear!
As the magical doors to the Queen's castle
opened, Fairy Fleur went inside. She walked
across the Great Hall and knocked nervously
at the door to the Throne Room.
"Come in" said the Queen, and as Fairy Fleur
