her golden throne, she felt more nervous than
ever. The Queen told Fairy Fleur that she had
a very important job for her to do.
"A child called Lydia has today lost a tooth"
she said. "As the Tooth Fairy is so unwell, you
are to go along tonight and bring the tooth
back here."
The Queen handed Fairy Fleur a small golden
pouch.
"Inside this pouch" she continued "is a coin
and some Fairy Dust. You will find the tooth
under Lydia's pillow and you are to take the
tooth and in return leave the coin and a
sprinkling of Fairy Dust. Then you are to
return here with the tooth and bring it
straight to me. Do you understand?"
"Y-yes your Majesty" stammered Fairy Fleur.
The Queen spoke again. "There are two very
important things to remember: First, you
must not wake Lydia up. It is not the right
time for her to see fairies yet, and she must
not see you. The second thing is you must not
forget to bring back the tooth. The Star
