Page 5 - Lydia and the Tooth Fairy
P. 5
Far away in Fairyland, all was not quite
well. In fact the Queen Fairy had a lot of
problems to sort out. As it was the end of
November, and getting ever nearer to
Christmas, a lot of the fairies had been sent
off to help out Santa's elves in Toyland, as
there were lots and lots of toys and other gifts
to be made and wrapped. This meant that the
Queen Fairy was left with very few fairies to
carry out the normal jobs, such as polishing
the stars and painting the rainbow. On top of
this, the Tooth Fairy had gone down with the
most dreadful cold, and was now confined to
her bed.
The Queen Fairy sent a messenger to tell all
the fairies and apprentice fairies that they
should all work especially hard and keep
alert at all times, so that everything could
run as smoothly as possible. She also sent
word that she wished to see Fairy Fleur in
her castle at six p.m. sharp.
