Lydia and the Tooth Fairy

Lydia was very excited. The tooth which had

been wobbling for ages had finally come out

today and she couldn't wait to go to bed, so

that she could put it under her pillow for the

Tooth Fairy. Or rather, she couldn't wait to

wake up tomorrow, to see what the Tooth

Fairy had left for her!

That night, after Lydia had changed into her

pyjamas and cleaned her teeth, Mummy

helped her to put the small, white tooth into

the little velvet pouch, and they carefully

placed it under the pillow. Then Lydia got

into bed, and after saying her prayers, and a

goodnight kiss from Mummy, Lydia slipped

dreamily off to sleep.
