could be back in her own bed before dawn, so

       that her mummy would not worry.













       Lydia couldn't believe what was happening,


       and felt a little afraid, as she and Fairy Fleur

       stood on the edge of the window ready to fly


       off into the sky.


       "Don't be afraid" said the fairy. "Just keep


       hold of my hand, and you'll be fine."



       As they flew out across the sky, Lydia could


       see the rooftops of all the houses in Canton

       disappearing as they got higher, and she


       could just make out the spire at the top of


       Llandaff Cathedral, as they passed through


       the soft, fluffy clouds. They flew for a little


       while longer, and then Fairy Fleur shouted

       "Hold on tight!" as they started to go back


       down through the clouds again. Lydia could


       see lots of shimmering buildings below, which

       Fairy Fleur later told her were all the other


       magical lands outside Fairyland. Then at last
