"You have been a very kind and hard-

working fairy" the Queen said. "You have

waited a long time for your wings and wand,

and now you have truly earned them."

Fairy Fleur was so overjoyed that she

thought she would burst.

The Queen announced that the feast was to

begin and everyone tucked in to the

wonderful foods. Lydia tasted things she

hadn't even dreamed of, such as moonbeam

cakes, flower jellies, and melt-in-the-mouth

snowdrop biscuits. There were also endless

cups of morning dew lemonade and fresh

flower nectar.

After the feast was over, the Queen asked

Lydia to step forward.

"It is time for you to go home now" she said.

Fairy Fleur came over and gave Lydia a big

hug. She also told Lydia to look into the sky
